How to Let Go of Tasks and Make the Most of Your Time

This is a quick, but important topic for you. Delegating. There may be a downside to this, but the likelihood of it creating better things for you is far greater. When you delegate, it can cause a lot of anxiety because you are giving up control. You’re giving over your responsibility to someone else who may not do it as well as you would. That someone else may just make mistakes. You might have to follow up to make sure it’s done correctly. You also worry about the amount of time it’s going to take to train that person to take on that task.
I encourage you to just LET. IT. GO! Give it up, let go of control, and allow yourself so much more extra time. Not only does it free up your time, but it empowers the person you delegated for that task. They may come up with ideas you never would even think of on your own. They might even do it better than you, or different, but it could be something you need. Even if they didn’t do it as well as you, your time is so valuable that you have to get certain things off of your plate. Empower people to learn things, make mistakes, figure it out and get more things done. Do some delegating today. Allow people to help so you can focus on what you do best!
