Secrets of a Financial Services Top Producer

In today’s video, I interview a client who always finds ways to go the extra mile with her clients- and is a top performer because of it.

Clients hire us to solve their problems. Whether we are alleviating pain points, developing an effective strategy to increase sales, or empowering them as leaders through coaching, clients hire us with the goal of being better off than when they hired us.

This week, I spoke with Celeste duPreez, a business coach with Simplicity Financial Marketing. Celeste partners with financial advisors and agents to help them grow their practices.

Her approach is simple:
What makes you stand out, is going the extra mile for your clients. You might be able to give them endless amounts of sound advice and strategies to implement, but are you making their lives better by putting in time and effort? That is the key to a long-term, fruitful relationship.

Ask yourself:

  • How can I empower them?
  • How can I take something off their plate that they have not discussed?
  • How can I show them that they are more than a business transaction?
  • What is something extra I can do for my client today that shows them I am committed to their overall success?
  • It is more than simply solving their problems. It is an attention to detail that takes you from “conqueror of the client issue to client deliverer of excellence.”
