Dave Brown’s Bio

Dave Brown is a Senior Partner at Southwestern Consulting, a division of the 160-year-old Southwestern Company as well as VP of Recruiting for Southwestern Coaching, a division of Southwestern Consulting. As an Elite-Level Coach and Keynote Speaker, Dave has trained and spoken to hundreds of thousands of sales professionals in over a thousand companies all across the globe.

He was a collegiate athlete at Trinity University in Chicago and was selected as an All-American two times. In college, Dave sold books, study guides and software door-to-door for 7 years breaking all-time sales records while knocking on over 50,000 cold doors by the time he was 25. Since then he has made over 100,000 cold calls into companies worldwide and that number grows daily.

His articles are published in magazines such as Speaker Magazine and Sold Magazine and his insights have appeared regularly in nationally recognized blogs. He’s a guest lecturer at Vanderbilt University, author of the upcoming book Painless Prospecting and creator of the renowned video series 42 Days to Prospecting Power. His ideas empower salespeople everywhere with key principles to making prospecting fun and more effective.

Over the last decade Dave lived in 15 different states building his company’s brand but now permanently resides in Nashville, TN with his amazing wife Emmie, incredibly handsome son Dawson, lovely daughter Cadence Lane, and brilliant “blond” Labrador, Theo.
