Meet Dustin Hillis

As Chief Executive Officer of The Southwestern Family of Companies, Dustin Hillis will lead the company toward its 30-year vision to become the largest privately-owned company worldwide. With a current portfolio of 16 businesses producing $220mm in annual revenue, Hillis plans to grow the company 26% per year to a total of 200 businesses by 2048. In addition to being CEO of The Southwestern Family of Companies, Hillis will remain in his role as the Co-Founder of Southwestern Consulting and head of Southwestern Coaching Business.

Hillis’s career began while he was a student at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville. As a junior in college, Hillis became the all-time sales record holder at the 163-year-old Southwestern Advantage, making a profit of more than $100,000 in just 14 weeks.

As Co-Founder of Southwestern Consulting, Hillis oversees 200+ team members in locations spanning from Estonia, UK, Lithuania, Brazil, Canada and all over the USA. The Southwestern Coaching business has a five year compounded growth of 61% and will generate $20 million in revenue this year.

He holds a degree in psychology and is a premier Sales and Leadership Behavioral Specialist. He is the co-author of the book Navigate 2.0: Selling the Way People Like to Buy (with Steve Reiner), author of the book Navigate, creator of the “How to Navigate a Referral System” audio training series and co-author of Speaking of Success (with Stephen Covey, Ken Blanchard, and Jack Canfield). Later this year, Hillis will release a new book titled Redefining Possible: 10 Keys to Killing Complacency, Breaking Belief Barriers and Creating a New Normal (co-authored with Ron Alford). Additionally, his insights on professional selling have been featured on some of the biggest podcasts in the world and in media outlets like Entrepreneur magazine and the Dave Ramsey radio show. In 2019, Dustin was awarded Nashville Business Journal’s 40 Under 40.
